I made this fused glass cross Christmas ornament from scraps of clear glass in my workshop. I first cast the scraps in my kiln into one large shape, then individually cut each cross with ring saw. Finally, I drilled tiny holes in the tops and inserted the hanging loop, then they went back in the kiln to secure the loop and to polish the edges. Each cross measures about 3 inches tall by 2.5 inches across by 0.5 inches thick. Yes, they need a sturdy branch on your Christmas tree! They also look lovely hung from fishing line in a sunny window.
