I made this stained glass panel using recycled wine bottles. First, I cut the bottles then melt them in my kiln to flatten them. The designs in the small circles are made by melting the glass over a plaster mold. The larger circles are from wine bottle “shoulders;” when they melt in the kiln, they have an empty circle in the middle. I constructed these panels using a combination of the Tiffany method and lead came. They are framed in zinc. These suncatcher/panels measure approximately 13 inches high by 4.5 inches wide and come with an attached chain for hanging.
